Owner
Janique Abrahams is a creative individual with a zest for forging new connections. Her journey involves a love for learning foreign languages and creating unique experiences. Originally from Jamaica, she migrated to the US, where she laid the foundation for her business. Janique boasts a diverse background in art, including ceramics, mixed-media, and graphics. She holds a B.S. in Biology from university, but her scientific pursuits never deterred her passion for the arts.

Beginning
SHAPPENING ART emerged during the pandemic as a heartfelt tribute to our cherished ones. Janique had always harbored a profound love for the arts, and after losing her grandmother, who had been a staunch supporter of her artistic endeavors, she felt that this would be the perfect way to honor her memory. Our business and the products we create serve as a means to remember and celebrate our loved ones.
